First-class Reliability The EW-7612PIns exceptional chipset offers increased bandwidth and more functionality than other standard PCI network adapters. The adapter is specifically designed to carry the full bandwidth capacity of the PCI Express bus of 2.5Gpbs, thus eliminating collisions and latencies that exist with current 32- and 64-bit PCI bus architectures. Wireless Security EW-7612PIn supports 64-/128-bit WEP data encryption that protects your wireless network from eavesdropping. It also supports WPA (Wi-Fi Protected Access) features that combine IEEE 802.1x and TKIP (Temporal Key Integrity Protocol) technologies. Furthermore, this adapter supports WPA2 and WPS functions, with WPA2 providing a stronger encryption mechanism through AES (Advanced Encryption Standard), which is a requirement for some corporate and government users. Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) is a standard for easy and secure establishment of a wireless network. EW-7612PIn supports software with WPS-compatible configurations. When both ends of the wireless connection use wireless solutions with WPS, it automatically configures the wireless network with robust WPA data encryption and authentication.
