ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE WARRANTY\nPanasonics Accidental Damage Warranty enhances the Toughbook computer and Toughpad tablet\n3-Year Standard Warranty by offering an additional layer of protection against unintentional physical damage.\nThis warranty is designed to complement the warranty on all Toughbook computers and Toughpad tablets\nexcluding consumable and peripheral items.
WARRANTY BENEFITS\n- Enhance the productivity of your mobile workforce.\n- Manage budgets more effectively by minimising out-of-warranty repair charges.\n- Increase uptime for your mobile workfor\nce by streamlining out-of-warranty coverage issues.\n- Customers want to reduce the time associated with repairs and expedite service\nby eliminating the hassles of dealing with in-warranty and out-of-warranty issues.
WARRANTY DESCRIPTION\nThe warranty covers all repairs that result from an accident during regular\nuse. It does not cover damage from intentional acts, fire, loss, theft,\nnormal wear (cosmetic and tear) not affecting functionality, improper\nmaintenance and modification by anyone other than a Panasonic\nService Centre or authorised Panasonic Service Provider, or damage\nthat is attributable to acts of God. The single claim limit is the value\nof the computer or tablet, and the total sum insured is the total amount\ninvoiced for your Panasonic Toughbook computers or Toughpad tablets.\nThe warranty must be purchased as part of the original sale from\na Panasonic representative or within 30 days of purchase of the\nassociated hardware. All system components are covered under the\nprogramme, including the LCD. The model and serial number must\nbe supplied to Panasonic before any service can be rendered. Under this\nservice, if repairing a unit is impossible, Panasonic will replace it with\na model of equal or greater value. (Please refer to the terms and\nconditions in the Service Manual for a complete description.)
WARRANTY PROCEDURE\n- If there is a claim and the Toughbook or Toughpad is damaged,\nplease contact the Panasonic Helpdesk.\n- For service under this contract, customers must provide the\nPanasonic Helpdesk with the company details and the full\nmodel and serial number of the unit.\n- A repair reference number will be issued and the collection\nof the faulty unit will be arranged.\n- A claim for a free of charge repair under warranty is subject to an\ninspection of the Panasonic Service Centre. For further information\nplease refer to the terms and conditions in the Service Manual.\n- The unit will be repaired at the Panasonic Service Centre and after\ncompletion returned to the sender via a Panasonic courier.\n- Shipments outside the EU are chargeable.
Accidental Damage Warranty must be purchased as part of the original\nToughbook computer or Toughpad tablet sale. Coverage for external\ndevices may be available at an additional charge.
