Advanced Office Password Recovery unlocks documents created with all versions of Microsoft Office from Office 2.0 to latest builds of Office 365, and supports documents in WordPerfect Office, Lotus SmartSuite, OpenDocument and Hangul Office formats. The tool can recover passwords for Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Project, Money, PowerPoint, Visio, Publisher and OneNote.
Special attention is paid to Microsoft Word .doc and Microsoft Excel .xls documents. For such files, the recovery is often possible within guaranteed timeframe. The Professional Edt. comes with a set of patented Thunder Tables, which allows decrypting legacy .doc and .xls files by targeting the encryption key instead of the original password.
Faster Attacks with GPU Acceleration
Microsoft consistently hardens protection in every major Office release. Computation-intensive encryption employed in the latest versions of Microsoft Office makes password recovery tools relying solely on computer’s CPU no longer fit for the job.

Not all passwords are equally strong. Adv. Office Password Recovery provides instant access to many types of password-protected documents, including those created in Microsoft Word and Excel versions 97 and 2000. Later versions of Microsoft Word and Excel save documents and spreadsheets in compatibility mode by default making them available for instant password recovery.

Unlocks Legacy Office Documents

The legacy format (which can be identified by the .doc/.xls extension as opposed to the modern .docx/.xlsx format) employs weak 40-bit encryption that predates the much stronger AES. Adv. Office Password Recovery has a special trick for such documents, allowing to break encryption by targeting the encryption key instead of the password.
